The same day as Chris Brown was charged with two felonies for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna, the singer took to his MySpace page asking fans for a little support.
In a post entitled, “Vote for Chris Brown for Kids Choice Awards”, Brown blogged, “Hey fans…Thank you for your support.” Included in the message was a link to Nickelodeon’s website where users able to cast their votes for the awards.
Chris is nominated for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song for “Kiss Kiss.”
It remains to be seen whether or not Brown and Rihanna,who is nominated for Best Female Singer and Favorite Song for “Don’t Stop the Music,” will attend the awards show together.
The couple — who recently reunited in Miami — infamously skipped the Grammys on Feb. 8, the night after Brown allegedly beat Rihanna.
The Kids’ Choice Awards air March 28 on Nickelodeon.
