Conan O’Brien is putting his new-found free time to good use.
The former Tonight Show host announced a 30-city theater tour on Thursday.
Conan’s sidekick Andy Richter will join him on the road, along with his Tonight Show band for the appearances which he promises will be “a night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.”
The tour kicks off April 12 in Eugene, OR.
In January, O’Brien quit the Tonight Show instead of taking NBC’s offer to push his start time back by a half-hour. Since then he hasn’t announced any future plans for another television spot.
“It was either a massive 30-city tour or start helping out around the house,” he joked.
