David Hasselhoff wants his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, to pay over $8,000 for attorney fees the former Baywatch star says he incurred in the couple’s ongoing divorce proceedings, according to court documents first obtained by CelebTV.com.
In papers filed May 7 in L.A. Superior Court, Hasselhoff requests that he be allowed to deduct $8,4055.00 in court costs from the $1 million he already owes his ex-wife.
In April, the court ordered Hasselhoff to give over a hunk of property to Bach. The former actress was awarded 50 percent ownership of the couple’s Encino house worth $961,000, her mother’s paintings and miscellaneous furniture, among other items, according to a judgment filed April 17 in L.A. Superior Court.
The former Baywatch star, 55, was also ordered to pay his ex $21,000 a month in spousal support and a total of $4,000 in child support for the couple’s teenage daughters, Taylor Ann, 17, and Hayley, 15.
Hasselfhoff filed for divorce from Bach in January 2006 after 16 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. In May of that same year, the court awarded the couple joint custody of their two teenage daughters.
Hasselhoff appeared on Baywatch from 1989 to 2000. He also starred in the 1980s TV series Knight Rider.
