The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled DJ Adam Goldstein’s death as an accidental overdose.
“We’ve done the testing and investigation in conjunction with the NYPD and in our opinion this was an accidental overdose rather than suicide,” a rep from the examiner’s office confirmed to People magazine.
The celebrity deejay, better known to most as DJ AM, was found dead in his NYC apartment on Aug. 28.
Some of the drugs reported to be in his system at the time of death included cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, Ativan, Klonapin and Xanax.
He was 36.
