Eddie Cibrian is setting the record straight, and denying reports that he is having an affair with his co-star, LeAnn Rimes.
“It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship,” Cibrian said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
Cibrian and Rimes, who are both married, met on the set of the Lifetime movie, Northern Lights, which filmed last November and December in Calgary.
Yesterday, Rimes posted a statement on her official website saying, “This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support.”
Rimes and her husband, Dean Sheremet, have been married for seven years.
For the time being, Rimes and Cibrian are keeping their romance for the small screen. Northern Lights airs March 21.
