For months now, there’s been a back-and-forth about whether or not two Grey’s Anatomy docs will be hanging up their scrubs…for good. And after Thursday’s cliffhanger finale, we’ll have to wait even longer.
The final minutes of the season-ender implied not only that cancer-stricken Katherine Heigl (Izzie) had died, but that T.R. Knight (George) had crossed to the other side, too.
In a surprising twist, George enters Seattle Grace hospital as a patient rather than a doctor after being run over by a bus.
BFF’s Heigl and Knight were both rumored to want off the show, and with the sound of a flatline, it appears they may have gotten their wish.
