‘Tis the season for some spring cleaning, and for Gwyneth Paltrow, that means cleaning out the ‘ol closet.
Gwynnie took to her GOOP newsletter to let her fans in on a little secret — a few select items from her closet have made their way to eBay.
Proceeds from the sale will go towards the Robin Hood Foundation which targets joblessness, teen pregnancy, abuse and AIDS in New York City.
“I recently did a good look-through and found some things that I will now call ‘vintage’ as well as doing a big cathartic spring cleanout. I thought maybe I would eBay some of my favorite and most treasured things to raise some money for the Robin Hood Foundation, who do a lot of amazing work in New York City,” Gwyneth wrote.
Up for grabs? Loads of designer goods, including Jimmy Choo and Valentino bags, Burberry sandals and a Balenciaga cocktail dress.
And it wouldn’t be a GOOP newsletter if Gwyneth didn’t offer up her two cents of advice.
The Oscar-winning actress turned recent designer suggests sticking with nautical and ethnic prints, trench coats, and jumpsuits this spring.
Paltrow has just begun filming Iron Man 2 which hits theaters in May of next year.
