Gossip Girl is going to have a lot to talk about come fall.
Hilary Duff is slated to guest star on multiple episodes of the show, sources have confirmed to EW.
The 21-year-old singer/actress will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in hopes of having a “normal” college experience.
Shockingly, she winds up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) and becomes Dan’s (Penn Badgley) newest love interest.
Ah, sounds like freshman year will get off to a rocky start.
Hilary’s GG run is set to begin during the season’s fourth episode, airing Oct. 5.

this will be interesting!!! but hey.. we’ll see how it goes! but i cant wait till the new season starts!!!!! when does it premier?

I am so so mad!! I can’t believe they selected HER. The GG cast is so fresh, unique, and absolutely stunning in their own way. Hilary Duff is none of those. She doesn’t fit in. Ugh, as long as she doesn’t do anything with Nate and Chuck, I think I can bear with it. But I am still very very disappointed with the GG casting people.
