Chace Crawford: The New Face of Versace?

Chace Crawford has proved he’s more than a pretty face—but that doesn’t mean he can’t make a few bucks off those killer good looks.

Insiders have been hinting the Gossip Girl star will be the new face of Versace and replace Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsy, whose contract is only through the Spring/Summer 2009 season.

Versace’s camp remains vague about a possible switch, saying in a statement, “It is undetermined who will replace [Dempsy] at this time.”

The company also coyly reveals: “We have been working hard to develop our relationship with Chace - and that is all we can say on the subject.”

Crawford—who regularly hits the red carpet—has recently been spotted wearing Versace to three major events, including Fashion Rocks and the MTV VMAs, making the super-stylish star a perfect replacement for the brand.
