3 CommentsJoel Madden is tired of people calling him to ask why they weren’t invited to his wedding to Nicole Richie this weekend.
In response, the Good Charlotte singer posted an entry on his blog Saturday titled “WE DID IT!! NICOLE AND I FINALLY GOT MARRIED!! click here for the pictures!!”
The pictures aren’t exactly shots for the wedding album, though–scroll down the page and you’ll see a photo of two gorillas dressed in a wedding gown and tux.
Madden admits, “So i feel really stupid even posting this, but i’ve been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren’t invited to my wedding.”
Richie’s man continues, “So i just found out that star magazine wrote some story about a 2 MILLION dollar wedding we are supposed to be having, and thats where it came from. Sooooo if you were pissed at me for not inviting you or even telling you, dont blame me, theres nothing to worry about. Its just star magazine. How long do you think it will be before they write we called it off, or we broke up? i give them a week or two…”
The pair have been together for more than two years. They welcomed a baby girl, Harlow Winter Kate, in January 2008.

I dont understand…why would he put pics of 2 gorillas in a tux and a wedding dress? Is he saying that they are gorillas? I’m shocked that they’ve lasted this long…how do they still have money to support their lifestyles?

She is such a role model for young girls!! I wish I could be JUST like her! I can’t wait for their real wedding, IT’S GOING TO BE BEAUTIFUL!

She is able to support her lavish lifestyle with her hefty trustfund. She has really cleaned up her act, so we have to give her accolades for that. She has become a good role model for young women. I hope she stays that way. I think as long as she steers clear of Paris, she will be fine. Paris only tarnished Nicoles image when she hung out with her. I believe the wedding story was just poking fun at the paparazzi. : )
