Kanye West Blasts Pearl Jam and Bonnaroo Organizers

Never one to hold back, Kanye West is lashing out over the criticism (not to mention the flying beer cans) he faced when he took the stage two hours late at last week’s Bonnaroo music festival.

In a scathing new posting on his blog, West blames festival organizers and the previous act, Pearl Jam, for delaying his set until 4:25 a.m.

“This Bonnaroo thing is the worst insult I’ve ever had in my life,” West writes. “This is the most offended I’ve ever been … this is the maddest I ever will be.”

After Pearl Jam ran an hour over schedule, the festival crew didn’t have enough time to put together the intricate stage set for West’s signature “glow-in-the-dark” performance.

While fans waited through the night for Kanye’s concert to start, some of them pelted the stage with glow sticks and beer cans.

After the gig, “Kanye Sucks” became a mantra at the festival.

“Call me what you want,” Kanye writes, “but never say I didn’t give my all!”

“I’m sorry to everyone that I didn’t have the ability to give the performance I wanted to,” he adds. “I’m sorry.”
