Sex and the City star Kristin Davis not only enjoys fashion on the big-screen—she’s set to become a designer herself.
The Southern-born beauty is partnering with Belk, Inc., a North Carolina-based retailer, to launch an exclusive clothing line, the company announced Monday on its website.
“I feel like I understand what the Southern woman wants to wear—it’s influenced my personal style so much growing up in the South,” Davis said in a statement.
In keeping with her SATC alter-ego Charlotte’s demure taste, the line will be “modern” and “feminine,” the company says, with items in the $38-$240 range.
Davis joins fellow Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker in the design world. Parker launched the low-priced clothing line Bitten (as in, “bitten by the fashion bug,” the actress has explained in the past) in 2007.
