A source at the hip L.A. baby boutique Petit Tresor confirms to CelebTV.com that Carey’s assistant called the store on Tuesday to ask about decorating a baby nursery.
The singer, 39, recently married Nick Cannon, 27, in the Bahamas.
Mariah’s assistant asked for samples for a “playful” baby room that “would work for a boy or a girl.”
The theme? Butterflies.
Carey’s assistant also purchased two onesies from Petit Tresor over the phone—a size 3-6 month onesie and a size 12-18 month T-shirt, both white with a magenta “Gorgeous” logo from huddybuddy.com, says the store source.
Petit Tresor, located in West Hollywood, is a regular shopping stop for celeb moms. Other famous clients include Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Richie, Katie Holmes and Britney Spears.

I hope the best for the two of them. Why cant everybody leave them alone. I hope that they prove everybody wrong and stay together and raise a family. Stop hatin!

omg mariah is so pretty nd nick cannon is so sexy lol srry mariah but ya man is sexy no lie but omg having a baby already wow moving so quickly and you guys might just stay togather 4 ever who knows? only god knows the future but i can imagine a cute tan baby lol if u ever do have 1 nd its a boy call it xzavier or jermia nd if its a girl jaslyin those are cute names but yea its like up 2 u nd nick so have fun with that lol ttyl
