Miley Cyrus: Vanity Fair Photo Flap “Still Hurts”

She might be known as Smiley Miley, but teen star Miley Cyrus admits her recent Vanity Fair photo controversy “still hurts.”

“I was embarrassed,” the 15-year-old tells Billboard magazine about the photos of her wearing only a bed sheet and a pouty expression, “but also it’s like, every career thing that I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I think that just makes me even more relatable.”

Adds the Disney star: “It still hurts when I think about it — but you know what, it doesn’t mean that you can’t move on.”
Cyrus describes her new album, Breakout, as “grown-up.”

The teen queen is filming the third season of her hit Hannah Montana, as well as a Hannah movie in Tennessee. Her new album drops July 22.
