Mischa Barton on Cellulite-Baring Bikini Pictures

Mischa Barton’s rep defends her client’s bikini body, suggesting the recent photos taken of the actress on vacation were doctored.
“Those photos are doctored. I’m not saying she’s perfect, nobody is. But they’ve given a 22-year-old woman the legs and bottom of an 80-year-old,” Lisa Perkins, Barton’s rep, told the New York Daily News.
The 22-year-old actress was recently snapped from behind in a bikini while vacationing in Australia putting everything—including the star’s cellulite—in prime view.
“Look at the shots that were taken shortly before on a beach in L.A. Did she develop all that cellulite in a couple of weeks? There’s a lot you can do with Photoshopping,” she added.
Barton—not the first celeb to be caught on film looking not-so-camera ready—has her own thoughts on the subject.
“Every woman does have cellulite!” she told OK! magazine. “I just feel like the photographers try to get the most unflattering shots. They know they are worth more money.”
Barton confronted the photographer—who admitted he planned to sell the photos for top dollar—but doesn’t take the criticism too seriously.
“There’s been lots of nasty gossip that’s been written about me over the years,” she said. “But I find it’s smarter to not get depressed about it and not to feed into it.”
At 5’9”, the size 4 star stays fit by working out and eating healthy, although she admits, “my size doesn’t change very much.”
She adds, “If I’m being really skinny and eating less and working out more, I get more of a boyish figure. But I like my curves. My boyfriend loves them!”
Barton’s latest project, The Assasination of a High School President, is slated for an August release.
