Sarah Jessica Parker Takes on Another New York Role

After helping Sex and the City: The Movie rake it $300 million, Sarah Jessica Parker is set to take on another role as a modern New York woman.

SJP is in talks to star in Warner Bros.’ The Ivy Chronicles, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

She would play Ivy, a single girl in New York who loses her high-powered job, gets divorced, moves from her ritzy Upper East Side apartment to a downtown flat, and starts a business to help upper-middle-class women get their kids into swanky kindergartens.

The story is based on a novel by Karen Quinn.
