Victoria Beckham to Launch Line of Upscale Dresses

Posh princess Victoria Beckham is taking another crack at clothing design.

The former Spice Girl plans to debut a line of high-end couture dresses at New York Fashion Week, Women’s Wear Daily reports.

“It will be something completely different from what I’ve ever done,” the 34-year-old singer tells the trade mag. “I’m just putting it together at the moment, but they will be very upscale dresses and likely will start at around $1,200 retail.”

Adds Beckham: “I’m going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries.”

The mother of three already has a line of jeans called dVb and sunglasses and is hoping to expand her line with handbags and shoes.

But don’t expect workout wear from the stiletto-loving wife of soccer stud David Beckham. “Sports and me don’t really go hand-in-hand — other than with my husband,” she says.
