Janet Jackson’s first North American tour in seven years is stuck in neutral.
The 42-year-old singer has postponed three more concert dates because of an undisclosed illness. This weekend, Jackson canceled a Saturday show in Greensboro, N.C., one on Sunday in Atlanta and a third on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.
Jackson said in a statement that she arrived in Greensboro, N.C., for a tour date Saturday, but a local doctor advised that she not perform after it became “evident” she was not fully recovered, according to the Associated Press.
Reps for Jackson said earlier last week the singer became “suddenly ill” before a Montreal concert. She was treated and released the same day but still postponed two tour dates last week.
Jackson’s publicist didn’t give any more details about her illness Saturday.
