While Jessica Simpson has been quietly mourning the loss of her malti-poo Daisy, some of her Twitter followers haven’t been so kind about the missing pooch.
“People have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found. Untrue. People are so cruel..please respect her memory,” the singer wrote on her Twitter page.
At least Jess’ ex-hubby, Nick Lachey offered his regards about the dog he once gave Simpson as a gift.
“I think a lot of people forget that Daisy was my dog too — for year, ” Lachey told Access Hollywood last week.
“I didn’t reach out to her [Jessica Simpson]. “I’m sure she was upset … I was upset … It was sad to hear that happened, but it’s part of the cycle of life.”
