Talk about uncomfortable.
Former flames Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears had a bit of an awkward run-in Monday night while dining at the same West Hollywood restaurant.
A source confirms to Us Weekly that the pop stars impromptu reunion took place at Yatai Asian Tapas Bar around 10 p.m. Britney and her mother Lynne came in for a bite to eat and ran into Timberlake and his girlfriend Jessica Biel.
The source told the mag that Biel looked “gorgeous,” while Spears “didn’t look the best, but she probably thought no one would see her, as this restaurant isn’t usually a hot spot.”
The onlooker described the restaurant as being “so small.. like the size of a living room.”
And as for any attempt at going unnoticed, “Jessica and Justin looked to be slumping down in their seats to avoid [Spears]. She left 30 minutes later.”
Spears and Timberlake split in 2002.
