Despite various reports, Kate Gosselin will not be picking up and moving her brood of eight to Rockville, Maryland.
“She is not buying or renting in the area,” a source tells People magazine. “Kate was having lunch there, and after spending a total of one hour in a restaurant that has condos for sale above it, a rumor began that somehow, suddenly, she was buying a condo there. She didn’t even know there were apartments for sale there. It’s totally false.”
Soon-to-be divorced Kate and Jon have agreed to alternate between the home they once shared in Reading, Pennsylvania whenenver either of them has custody of their eight children.
Jon has already purchased a new pad in Manhattan for his off days, as for where Kate will shack up is still uknown.
“One thing is certain,” a friend of Kate’s tells the mag. “Kate absolutely will not live far from her family, ever. Period. She would never choose to be so far from home.”
