Lane Garrison has finally received his get-out-of-jail card.
The Prison Break star was released on parole early Wednesday morning according to E! News, and was greeted by friends and family around 3:45 am outside of the California Correctional Institute in Tehachapi, Calif.
Garrison was sentenced to 40 months in prison after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter and two alcohol-related charges, stemming from a 2006 car crash that killed a 17-year-old boy and injured a 15-year-old girl.
At the time, Garrison was found with cocaine in his system and a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.
Sources tell E! that although Lane has been released, he is expected to check himself into an in-patient rehab center to shorten his probation sentence.
