The reviews are in – and fans and critics agree – Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” is “off the wall!”
The stars were out in full force Tuesday night for the premiere of the king of pop’s concert documentary…celebs like will smith, jennifer lopez, katy perry and ashley tisdale walked the red carpet… plus paris hilton, neil patrick harris, julianne hough and jennifer love hewitt with boyfriend jamie kennedy.
American idol stars adam lambert, david cook and former judge paula abdul also came out to support the late legend. Paula told people.com, “tonight is a celebration. I learned so much from working with michael and his brothers. I have nothing but love and support.”
While no one was sure if the jackson brothers would make an appearance, they all showed up together. Jermaine jackson told people.com, “we had to be here to support my brother's work. They say this is it, but this is just the beginning.”
The film was made from 120 hours of mj’s rehearsal footage, and documents the king of pop’s final days as he prepared for his comeback shows.
“this is it” hits theaters wednesday, and it’s expected to take in more than $250 million in its first week. For ctv, i’m kz.
