The Jackson family goes to court to try to get custody of Michael Jackson’s children.
Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court Monday asking for temporary legal guardianship of all three of Michael’s children. A judge approved the request.
The kids have been staying with their grandmother since Jackson died last Thursday. The petition reportedly states that “they have a long-established relationship with paternal grandmother and are comfortable in her care” and that the children have “no relationship with their biological mother.”
Jackson’s ex, Debbie Rowe, is the mother of his two older children, Prince and Paris. His third child, Prince Michael the second, was born to a surrogate.
The family reportedly hasn’t heard from Debbie Rowe since Jackson’s death. But she supposedly gave up her custody rights after she and Jackson divorced in 1999.
I think janet jackson should have custody of michael jackson’s kids…because his mother is too old to be raising kids…and his father would just beat the hell out of them!!!
Mikes dad is too old to swat a fly. I do agree though that mom is getting older. Maybe one of the siblings should step in. I am sure they have all talked this over.
But thank god they are with their grandma.

Why would a judge grant custody to her? she couldn’t/wouldn’t even protect her own children against this man. the oldest brother wrote a book saying he (Joe) molested the two oldest daughters and he let “important men” molest Michael. no wonder M.J. was so sick. I pray for these poor kids.
It could be OK if they hire a nanny that they are familiar with. They probably are comfortable with them - grandparents have different relationships with grandkids vs their own kids.
She is 80 or almost 80 and has no business adopting or being guardian. They should go to an uncle who has children of a similuar age. Debbie rowe seems sweet. Whoever gets the kids will need to recognize the kids emotional problems. The Jacksons will want to sweep their emotional problems under the rug.

obviously Michael had an arrangement with the maternal mother, and she said she did it out of love for Michael, that is a good thing.For as much as Michael loves his own mother, why would he want to prevent his own children of having a mother? The comment about the kids are WHITE, they’ve been raised in an enviroment that unites cultures,they haven’t been deprived in that regard.What is white culture, as if it means one thing to be white.
i don’t think the real mother or the grandmother should get custody. the real mother obviously doesn’t care about them, and their grandmother is still with jackson’s father, who was KNOWN to be abusive, and cause michael to have all the problems that he had! on top of that, she is old, and will likely die sooner than someone younger, do those poor kids really need to go through ANOTHER loss like that? both choices are awful. they should be given to janet or latoya or someone YOUNGER who cares!

the cycle of abuse, physical as well as mental, started with him. Joe is to be commended for getting them started in the music business but his tactics are to be admonished. i’ve noticed that none of his children speak highly of him. if they mention him at all. just can’t get down with his vibe. Katherine plays a role in her children’s success as well but you get the feeling that she doesn’t treat them as business transactions. no wonder she was held at such a high regard by Michael.

obviously Michael had an arrangement with the maternal mother, and she said she did it out of love for Michael, that is a good thing.For as much as Michael loves his own mother, why would he want to prevent his own children of having a mother? i don’t think the real mother or the grandmother should get custody. the real mother obviously doesn’t care about them, and their grandmother is still with jackson’s father, who was KNOWN to be abusive, and cause michael to have all the problems that he had! on top of that, she is old, and will likely die sooner than someone younger, do those poor kids really need to go through ANOTHER loss like that? both choices are awful. they should be given to janet or latoya or someone YOUNGER who cares!

the cycle of abuse, physical as well as mental, started with him. Joe is to be commended for getting them started in the music business but his tactics are to be admonished. i’ve noticed that none of his children speak highly of him. if they mention him at all. just can’t get down with his vibe. Katherine plays a role in her children’s success as well but you get the feeling that she doesn’t treat them as business transactions. no wonder she was held at such a high regard by Michael.
