  I knew a little boy who was born at… 27/28 weeks, so about 2 weeks after this little one and he was 2lbs 5oz at birth. The poor little guy had a twin that died from prematurity-related issues. His body took a major hit since he came out 3 months early… eyes, muscles, etc. He’s now 7 and doing okay, but a year behind most kids his age in school since he had to start a year late due to his difficulties and is still in physiotherapy.

  I think having that many kids is up to the family, but with her last baby I remember someone that watched the show said she shouldn’t have any more its messing up her on the inside. Which of course it would. That many carriages. They should look at this as a sign. Though my brother was born 3 months early, he grew just fine, healthy, and now in the military. Hope the baby does well!!

  children are not gifts, they are a big responsibility an they deserve parents that can give them alll the attention children need. you cant be an effective parent of 19. you cant call yourself a parent if you depend heavily on your older children to manage the younger children while you care for an infant. you cant be an effective grandparent when you have 15 other children to raise to adulthood. and you can be a good mother if you keep risking your life and constanting putting the children you

  already have at risk for being motherless. being pregnant and giving birth is extremely dangerouse. read the title of the video “EMERGENCY C-SECTION”. this women needed invasive surgery to deliver this child and she is at risk for several life altering complication. this is true madess and selfishness on the parents part.there are millions of orphans world wide that need a good home and thousands of children needing a foster home. if these idiot parents wanted to truely show “god’s gift”

  Hope the little angel makes it, my niece was born 2 months premature, and its so tough on their tiny little bodies. They are a loving family, and I think the mom and dad are so sweet to each other, but maybe its time to stop with all the baby making……SERIOUSLY.

  Name ONE country that will allow (including this one) a Family with 15-16-17 NATURAL siblings to adopt.

  United States won’t
  The Duggar parents are to old for most foreign countries to adopt. (They are both over 40)
  And most foreign countries will not let families with more than 4 children adopt either.

  So the whole “Why don’t the Duggars adopt is moot” which could very well be WHY the Duggars instead help support orphanages.

  They support with MONEY and their TIME and LABOR.

  there is a difference between making a vacation out of humanitarian work and people who actually live the life of a humanitarian. there are tons of people who volunteer, donate for charities and variouse organizations. i’ve helped build 3 homes for “habitat for humanity” and i volunteer at my local homeless shelter. big deal….

  Actually most people do not support charities on a regular basis. They give at Christmas time and forget about it the rest of the year. Some people may volunteer time here and there. Most people do not go build houses for others (Glad you do).

  The Duggars did not set out to have a large family. After the miscarriage they decided to leave it up to God how many or how few children they would have.

  to raise while you are too busy looking after the new born. thats sick. if you want to say children are gifts, fine. but like a spoiled child on christmas the Duggers keep getting new presents every year and tossing the old gifts aside.a gift should be appreciated and there is not better way to show appreciation then to properly caring for the gifts you have already instead of taking new gifts just because you are fortunate enough still being able recieve them.making babies shouldnt be a hobby.

  there was a earlier interview with the family where many of the children were asked they wanted to have many children and ALL of the children said yes. im not expecting that all the children to try and out do their parents and make 20 children each. but i do see many of them having more than average simply just because they were inductrinated with the value that many kids= blessings from god.

  people would could can list the variouse 5k runs they did for charity, the blood donor drives they have participated in, the homes they have help built, the churches they donate to every week, the number of times they shaved their head to raise money for cancer research, 2 children they sponsor from 3rd world countries, the 3 children they fostered and offered a home to, the schools they build in other countries… the average tax paying, law abiding person contributes quite a bit.

  and its more than just being able to financially afford children. people need to be able to properly care fore and raise their children effectively. the Dugger’s buddy system turns children into parents. im all for kids helping siblings and having chores as a way to learn skills and responsibility but its got to be balanced and parents roles in each of their child’s life should be primary, not secondary to a sibling.

  I think this woman needs to stop. Nineteen children is insane. Yes they may have rental properties but you know what depending on what they have they may be vacant. The kids are going to suffer because they are not getting the attention that they need and they are also being put on TV all the time. That in itself causes issues for them. She was told after the 18th child to stop having children by the doctor because she had complications during that one. I think the husband has a big ego and he thrives on all the attention that he gets on TV. That is just sick.
