what good will giving up smoking do? The man is dying for goodness sake, if a cigarette can ease the pain he goes through every day then dammit he should smoke 100. I am not a smoker but to be honest I hate that people feel they should judge him for smoking when he is going through hell. I am shocked he is holding it together, if I was him i would have been losing it big time!

I am not judging him at all. He is a legend and an amazing guy … he can live longer by stop smoking now.

It’s too late for him to stop smoking now, he should just enjoy the rest of his life even if thst includes smoking.

pancreatic cancer is almost always a death sentence. I know this from the work I do and smoking will not effect if he dies sooner or later. It is not productive to think that smoking or stopping smoking now will do anything. Many non smoking people die very quickly of pancreatic cancer unfortunately. He needs to find out how he wants to live the time he has left and be respected for his choices. It is his life not yours.

How he lives however long he has left is up to him and his family, all I know is that the day he passes, my heart will break and i will shed tears because he is a dear man, great actor and I will feel for his family, just like I did for Christopher Reeve. And about the smoking thing, I think hes already had that discussion with his doctor so its now up to him, dont love him any less whatever he decided.
