Judge Paula Abdul got all diva -like Thursday night when she hosted vh1’s diva live. The former idol judge dressed up as the newest idol judge ,Ellen DeGeneres ,even doing some Ellen like dance moves.
Abdul told the live audience she has nothing for love for her new replacement, and wished her well saying, “i wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig. She then graciously told ellen to give her a ring if anything comes up. “ you gotta call me if you have any Simon problems, 'cause you know, I know him best."
Paula opened the show by singing and dancing to some of her greatest hits. While rockin out to “straight up” Paula almost fell straight down, but managed to stay on her feet like the pro that she is…

before Idol and her so called Pop career – Paula always worked and got paid well for her coreography. she was sought after by many pop stars, shows, and other coreographers. i am sure she cannot do that as much anymore but she is still a teacher and dancer. she won’t make millions again perhaps and she messed up on prescription drugs but she also did have chronic pain from dance and helicopter accident.

They never mentioned how much Randy makes. Simon Cowell does not produce the show. It’s Simon Fowler who’s the producer. People get that mixed up all the time. Simon Cowell is just a judge like the rest of them. Cowell is a producer of other shows, but not AI. So the $100M for just being a judge is ridiculous. If you compare what the Talk Show hosts makes per season, it doesn’t compare to what Paula was asking. Simon defended Paula for the questionable things she had done.

I know the difference between the two Simon’s from Pop Idol in England. Nigel Lithgoe is or was also an executive producer. It is not in the credits, but Simon has a lot more to do with it than just judge. still, it does not deserve 100,000,000 a year at all. i totally agree. but neither does 10 million. i don’t think anyone in hollywood deserves that kind of money. i know he defended paula, he had to in public. what was he going to do? go on tele and say she was a prat?

i am not a Paula fan….but,
before Idol and her so called Pop career – Paula always worked and got paid well for her coreography. she was sought after by many pop stars, shows, and other coreographers. i am sure she cannot do that as much anymore but she is still a teacher and dancer. she won’t make millions again perhaps and she messed up on prescription drugs but she also did have chronic pain from dance and helicopter accident.

when Simon finally gets X Factor to the US Paula will be a judge. i don’t know how the show will fly when Idol is still on…when they did it in the UK, Pop Idol was cancelled. anyway, apparently this is why Simon hasn’t said anything. it was probably all known. Fox probably gave her an out and she took it. it was probably a Star Jones type scenario and her contract wasn’t renewed anyway.
