Madonna, 49, has been seeking advice from high-powered attorney Fiona Shackleton, who represented Paul McCartney in his nasty split from Heather Mills, the paper reports.
Adding fuel to the fire? The singer was snapped in New York on Thursday, sans wedding ring.
Shackleton also represented Prince Charles in his divorce from Princess Diana.
Madonna and Ritchie, 39, don’t have a prenup, according to the Times. That means the pair could end up splitting their assets 50-50.
The Material Girl is believed to be worth about $600 million.
A call to her rep was not immediately returned.
