2 CommentsRosie O’Donnell may have exited The View last year, but that doesn’t mean she’s keeping quiet about her on-set nemesis Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who regularly heats up the show’s “hot topics” with her die-hard conservative perspective.
“She is perfect for Fox,” O’Donnell blogs on her website in response to a reader’s question. “Or vice president if sarah gets tired.”
The former co-host pokes fun at Hasselbeck’s staunch support of Republican presidential candidate John McCain and his controversial running mate Sarah Palin.
When asked on Tuesday why Palin would make a good vice president, Hasselback forcefully retorted, “Well, since I’ve been studying for this pop quiz forever, tell me why Barack Obama is qualified to be president.”
Hasselbeck, who stands alone as the show’s only conservative voice, is reportedly “very upset” with co-hosts Joy Behr and Whoopi Goldberg and considering leaving the show for a spot on Fox News.
