hilarious. Sacha’s comedy and characters are so shocking and he can basically do or say whatever he wants and gets away with it. He is one of the most talented movie stars/comedians I have ever seen.

When you try to play into Cohen’s act, he takes you down even further. Look at when he wrestled Harry Smith to the ground when he pretended to be in on it.
I wouldn’t say he’s not brilliant, but yeah it’s fnny you say that because I was watching that Rove interview yesterday, and I noticed he recycled that joke about him and the host in 15 years and how it could never happen.
The reason people are “picking on” Sasha about re-using jokes is because everyone says that he’s a great actor/comedian and they can’t handle the fact that he really is. So, they pick apart whatever they can about him. I mean, yeah, almost ALL comedians do the same thing. Sasha’s awesome.
Seriously, comedians reuse jokes all the time. Every single one of them. You think when they tour it’s a different show in each venue? No. Just like bands don’t write different songs for every performance.
Borat was great, but I think that’s why he picked Bruno.
Playing as Bruno will really give him more opportunities to cross the line and push things.
Also, his son, OJ, will be a big help.

What makes a great actor is the ability to switch the character on and off whenever they like - from an intense scene on-screen, to their usual selves off-screen. Think of actors like prostitutes. They simply do what they do for money. Once they’ve engaged in intercourse, or in the actors case simulated it, no feelings are necessarily felt afterwards.

I love Sacha too, Ali G, Borat and Bruno are all great creations.
But I wouldn’t say genius lol. He’s very good at what he does and is completely committed to exposing prejudice and staying 100% in character but genius is a bit strong.

Yes, he does use his lines over and over again. I even find it funny how he adapts them to the country he his in, but this man is as committed as you can possibly be to your character and i give him the props a thousand times over for his talents. Sacha is BOSS.
And Most of the jokes he uses and all of his characters derived from when Sacha did the Ali G show. In which he played all these characters at one point or another.

Hey!!! I’m a hard core Christian!!!! …and am sooooo going to see this movie. Yes, I have a strong sense of humor. Sacha is majorly creative and a real entertainer. I just hope it’s more than just 30 minutes of material stretched into a longer format…like the first film.

You obviously don’t understand the concept of acting. What makes a great actor is the ability to switch the character on and off whenever they like - from an intense scene on-screen, to their usual selves off-screen. Think of actors like prostitutes. They simply do what they do for money. Once they’ve engaged in intercourse, or in the actors case simulated it, no feelings are necessarily felt afterwards.

Hey!!! I’m a hard core Christian!!!! …and am sooooo going to see this movie. Yes, I have a strong sense of humor. Sacha is majorly creative and a real entertainer. I just hope it’s more than just 30 minutes of material stretched into a longer format…like the first film.
