While attorney’s for Britney Spear’s father and conservatorship are hard at work to seek a long- term restraining order against Brit’s former manager, Osama “Sam” Lutfi, there is one girl who says lately, the pop-star has been singing a different tune.
Lutfi’s sister, Christina, testified Wednesday that in recent months Britney has said she is afraid of her father, and would like her own lawyer, the AP reports.
Christina was introduced as a surprise witness in the case that has spanned over three months.
Although the Jamie Spears camp reiiterated that Lutfi had violated the restraining order by contacting Britney in December and January, Christina claimed Britney needed Sam’s help in hiring her own lawyer, which is why he reached out to the “Circus” singer.
Christina informed the court room Sam gave her a prepaid cell phone that she secretly handed over to Britney at a hotel sauna so the two could communicate.
In February Jamie testified that he found and confiscated the phone that indicated Britney had been communicating with Lutfi.
A judge ruled to continue the temporary orders until closing arguments on April 21.
