Newlyweds Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds reportedly got into such a big fight before Comic-Con, she went alone to promote Iron Man 2, and he didn’t show up to promote Green Lantern for Warner Bros, angering execs.
You’d think Ryan Reynolds was one of the luckiest guys in Hollywood. He’s married to the luscious Scarlett Johansson and he just landed the lead in the Green Lantern, Warner Brothers’ new comic book flick.
But his luck could be changing—pretty dramatically. Word has it all is not well with the newlyweds, who got into a very nasty fight as they were leaving for San Diego for Comic-Con last week.
Scar-Jo, who’s playing Black Widow in Iron Man 2, was on her way to promote the flick with co-star Robert Downey Jr., and director Jon Favreau while Ryan was supposed to promote Green Lantern for Warner Brothers.
But an insider tells Foxnews.com, “They got in a huge fight…It caused such a rift between them that Ryan refused to attend the conference and he told Scarlett she could go alone. She got so angry she threatened to take off her wedding band.”
Ryan’s no-show reportedly “angered the executives.” The insider says, “Ryan pulled out at the last minute and word spread fast…It was not a good way for Ryan to begin his work as the star of the movie.”
Meantime, Scarlett came out smelling like a rose, even though she supposedly started the fight. Guess Ryan should know better than to mess with a black widow.
