Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly furious Scarlett Johansson is featured in Iron Man 2’s new promo pictures as Black Widow and she isn’t. Now Gwyneth is supposedly boycotting Comic-con.
With all the hype surrounding the new Iron Man sequel that brings Scarlett Johansson and Mickey Rourke together with Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Patlrow, is Gwyneth feeling left out of the limelight?
The actress, who plays Pepper Potts in the flicks, is reportedly furious that her new co-star is stealing her thunder!
Scarlett Johansson plays Black Widow in Iron Man 2, and she’s getting a whole lot of attention lately. In Entertainment Weekly’s special Comic-Con preview, Scarlett gets full-court press along with Robert Downey Jr. and Mickey Rourke, but where’s Gwyneth?
A source tells UK’s Daily Mail, “Gwyneth was afraid she’d be upstaged by Scarlett and not being in the campaign was the final straw. She is furious she’s been left out.”
Although a spokesman for Gwyneth says, “she was not at all upset,” the actress is reportedly planning to boycott the film’s promotion at Comic-con. “She’s heading to New York instead, she’s so angry.”
I can understand why she’d be hurt about the entire situation, but then again, it’s not like she had a large role in the first film. I honestly forgot it was her that played the part. And it’s only natural that the movie producers want to show off that Scarlett and is in the film. She’s the newest character, they have to capitalize on that for ratings. That’s just my opinion
this is just like megan fox stealing angelina’s thunder. It would be funny if Megan was the new Tomb Raider chic. Veterans always get upset when new ppl come in. I still love Gwyneth.

I mean I’m not drooling over Morgan Fairchild (gulp yet) but I don’t know I don’t think Gwyneth is ALL that bad.
Bitch needs to grow up. Sure Scarlet Johansson may be getting more screen time, but at least Gwyneth didn’t lose her role in the movie. Remember when Terrence Howard got replaced? Sure it made him mad, but he got over it. Gweneth should just shut up, and just be glad she’s still in the movie.
Yeah I can agree with that the only thing I ever liked her in was Shakespeare in love and sky Capitan and the world of tomorrow, well if they hadn’t totally screwed up the genre piece by stumping ultra progressive notions in direct contrast to the mores of the time.
You know for some reason I totally confuse her with Renee Zelweiger (sp), their kinda alike.
Frankly I think Kate Winslet might have been a better choice for Gweneth’s part…
