Great accomplishment and if her M.D. suggested a life-or-death situation, then drastic measures were necessary. But as a health care practitioner (D.C.), fitness profesional and published author (see website cited) I sincerely wish folks would take a more natural approach and be patient, and, be positive. It takes time to reach obesity and it will take time to shed that excessive body fat. Best, Dr. David Robinson

Thanks for talking about gastric surgery. I’m considering it, and I just don’t know. It seems like such a radical step. For the moment, I agree with the above comment about it being a little severe.

I am just happy she lost the weight. It seems as though she is trying to turn it all around and I can support her in doing that.

I don’t know…I still don’t have any good feelings for Star Jones. No pitty from me for her. Hundreds of people go through this all the time. She used her celebrity and hid behind it. She took advantage of her viewers. Shame on her for thinking we were naïve and didnt see what was really happening. My feelings havent changed. It just makes me wonder who is the real Star Jones??? Time will tell.
