  “I don’t see the connection between Jett’s death and Scientology.”

  Jett died because of a seizure. Scientologists don’t believe in any illnesses that occur in the brain, such as seizures, and therefore aren’t allowed to take medications for such medical conditions. Simply, Jett had a medical condition that Scientologists don’t recognize. Unfortunately, even though they don’t recognize the medical condition, it still killed him.

  how can you say that there is no connection. You have just made one. they don’t recognise brain conditions so Jett probably was not on anti-convulsants due to their scientology beliefs if that is the case as you have stated. If he was on these medications and I don’t know if he was or wasn’t they may very well have prevented a seizure Whatever it’s tragic

  When I used “” it was because I was quoting Emmalala123. She made the statement not me. I was making a point against Scientology. Hit the a see all quotes button and you will see the comment in the correct order and you will also be able to see when someone is replying to another commenter.

  That’s my point exactly: Jett WAS on medication. If you research it anywhere, you will find that Jett was on Depakote for years, but it wasn’t effective and all other medication was causing damage to his liver. And anyway, even when the Depakote was effective, he still had a seizure every 3 weeks, so he could still have died.

  The naysayers love to say John was loyal to Scientologys distaste for medicine They also say this neglect is what brought on the death of his son who hit his head on a bathtub after suffering a violent seizure
  However TMZ reports the Travoltas put Jett on Depakote a very strong mood stabilizer and anti-seizure medication for years that reduced the spells from once every four days to once every few weeks After a while however the medication lost its effect and the Travoltas terminated the use

  To Emmalala123…this was from a report about Jett taking Depakote and then it was ceased by the Travoltas. We don’t know how long he had no medications and there many more anti-convulsants that may have suited Jett much better but were not tried. They always took their daughter everywhere with themin public but Jett was rarely seen almost as if they were embarrassed by his weight and condition. They as celebs often say can help others with kids in the same condition but they didn’t talk

  Jett had been off the medication for about a year. About Jett not being in public much: I think that also had to do with the fact that Jett never displayed an interest in acting, but Ella did. John and Kelly probably wanted to give him a normal life, that any other normal teenager would want.

  I am predicting scientologists will want to rule the world within a few decades. Why else would they breed automaton zombies who think they are superior to anybody else? I predicted the moslems would attack us, way before 9/11. No-one believed me. They called me a racist. Scientologists are the future nazis.

  Anyways, if scientology was that good, Jett wouldn’t have died, John Travolta and Kristy Alley wouldn’t be fat, Kelly Preston would have a better career, Jenna Elfman and Leah Remini would have jobs(Do I need to name other losers?)… C’mon people, if being a scientologist means that you are going to be as succesfull as them, cause that’s one of the things they tell you to try to convince to join them, I prefer to look for an alternative other than getting read of my thetans… LOL

  And don’t forget Hubbard died in his 50’s and was a lifetime smoker, and nicotine is a drug. How come he couldn’t free HIMSELF from that drug? It doesn’t add up. Scientology is a worldwide SCAM.

  anti seizure medication is a NEROLOGICAL medication used be NEUROLOGISTS. pseudoscience psychiatrists use it OFF LABEL for the mind to fix a non existent so called “chemical imbalance” they claim is the cause of so called “mental illness”.

  i am a scientologist and we do believe in REAL medical conditions and a NEUROLOGIST is a REAL doctor who manages and cures REAL diseases and illnesses. a PSYCHIATRIST does NOT treat REAL physical medical illnesses but only try to pretend they cure a non existent oxymoronic so called “mental illness”.

  OK, smartipants, tell me why did the big Hubbart die so young and why did he smoke? Smoking is a drug that is being used to prevent anxiety.
  (if you are a smoker just try not to smoke for a few hours and you will get the worst case of anxiety. then you HAVE to smoke to temporarily prevent it. later it returns and that causes you to keep smoking. every time you smoke you are doing it to prevent anxiety symptoms)
  What was his anxiety that needed to be medicated by using nicotine?

  Sad stuff Tom… why didn’t you get Jett Travolta NEW seisure medication?!?! Can you answer that for me, Tom? Why didn’t your cult do anything for Jett? Oh, that’s right… you don’t believe in any mental conditions. Like AUTISM, with which Jett was obviously afflicted. “He’s medication wasn’t working anymore…” yeah, no DUH. And you didn’t help get a replacement BECAUSE?!?!?!
