Vampire Movie “Twilight” Tops the Box Office

The vampire flick Twilight took a big bite out of the box office this weekend, raking in $70.6 million.

On Thursday morning, Fandango was selling five Twilight tickets per second, according to Deadline Hollywood, making it Fandango’s fastest-selling film since The Dark Knight this summer.

The blockbuster- in-the-making stars instant British heartthrob Robert Pattinson, 22, as a sexy, blood-sucking vampire.

Kristen Stewart plays heroine Bella Swan in Twilight, which is based a series of bestselling novels.
