High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is singing a different tune in a recent YouTube video.
The video, which features her latest song Gone With the Wind, was leaked from the 19-year-old’s second album, Identified, due out July 1. The song was released a week before the album dropped.
Gone With the Wind is a coming-of-age ballad that speaks about evolving from a girl to a young woman. Hudgens sings about becoming a young woman: “Now I’m standing my ground…you’ll see I’m different.”
The album is Hudgens’ follow-up to her gold-selling debut album.
The 2007 Teen Choice Awards Breakout Singer is set to tour internationally in support of Identified.
According to her MySpace page, the star says of the album’s vibe: “I always had a knack for a more soulful, jazzy sound, so right off the bat I wanted to kind of let loose, and come up with a sound no one has heard from me before.”
She will also appear in the highly-anticipated High School Musical 3, which will hit theaters October 24.

She is One Talented Girl, And That Is A Great Song. I Think That She Is Great At What She Does, And Its Amazing That She Can Tell The World In A Song, How She Feels, Without Sounding Like She Is Being Strangled. Lysfm Vanessa X
