No CommentsA Russian Vogue cover model fell to her death from her Manhattan apartment building Saturday in an apparent suicide attempt.
Ruslana Korshunova, died around 2:30 p.m. in a fall from a building on Water Street, in Manhattan’s Financial District.
The 20-year-old beauty had lost weight on her size-4 frame over the last month and complained about stomach problems in the days leading up to her death, according to an ex-boyfriend.
“I think she just gave up,” Artem Perchenok, 24, told the New York Post.

But the model’s current boyfriend told the paper she was “liking what she did.”
Korshunova’s mother added: “She’s had her ups and downs but never anything that would lead to suicide. This is completely unexpected.
“She was working, and everything seemed to be going fine. She was going to Milan [to work].”
Korshunova would have turned 21 on Wednesday. A makeshift memorial of orchids and candles was placed on the sidewalk where her body landed.
