MICHAELE AND TAREQ (mikhail and tareek) SALAHI, THE COUPLE WHO SUPPOSEDLY CRASHED A WHITE HOUSE STATE DINNER LAST WEEK, WERE ON THE TODAY SHOW TUESDAY, SPEAKING OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME, AND THEY WEREN’T BEING PAID FOR THEIR INTERVIEW.
“Were you or were you not invited to attend that state dinner. How do you answer that? Well, We were invited, not crashers. There isn’t anyone that would have the audacity or the poor behavior to do that. The White House it is the house and no one would do that, (who invited you) and certainly not us.”
ALTHOUGH, NBC CAUGHT UP WITH TAREQ’S ESTRANGED BROTHER, ISMAIL SALAHI, WHO TELLS A DIFFERENT STORY.
“I was shocked by it but I definitely don’t put it past him and his wife. Anybody that digs a little bit will find a lot of stuff that, they’re really into the whole media thing, they love the attention, a lot of the things that they have done have not really been what I would consider ethical or moral, that’s the path they’ve chose to take.”
