For most kids, a talk about the birds and the bees suffices, but for Zac Efron that conversation was handled a bit differently.
The 21-year-old’s mom got a little bit nervous when photos surfaced of the teen heartthrob and his 20-year-old girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, shopping for sex toys.
“My mom is like, ‘Zac, what did you buy in a sex shop?’” Efron told the April issue of Elle magazine. “‘I was like, ‘Mom, calm down, it’s not a sex shop.’
“She wouldn’t have any of it. “She’s like. ‘I knew you were being sexual!’ But she understood.”
Guess Mommy Efron didn’t trust Zac completely. The High School Musical star got a special — and a somewhat awkward — gift from her last December
“My stocking was full of condoms this Christmas,” he told the mag. “She buys me the economy box.”
